This guy says his agent-run company has a $10MM run rate...

...and it seems like everyone is dumping on him.

That is Ben Cera, founder of Polsia, which builds agent-run companies for clients.

Check out his numbers:

It is impressive, right?

Still, people are skeptical.

So I took the harshest criticisms and asked him straight up:

Q: Is your churn high? Are customers canceling?

First month is ~50%. But many people are just signing up to look around and see what this whole ai company builder is about. That's not egregious.

Q: I notice you say, “run rate.” Your revenue isn't recurring.

Some is (like the base subscription) and some isn't (like domain name purchases).

Run rate is a common way of expressing revenue in a fast-growing business like this.

Q: Are the sites your customers get just AI slop? I created one and it looked like a few other sites I saw.

The first version is designed to give you a taste for how this works. At the start, I intentionally trade customization for smooth onboarding. The AI will improve it with you.

Even the first version of a Squarespace site feels generic, but you're meant to improve those too.

And we're working on improving Polsia to create even better site.

Q: Is your name, "Polsia," just "AI Slop" spelled backwards?

Yes.

I'm trying to build the opposite of ai slop.

I was intentional about the name.

Q: Polsia builds companies. Seems few of them are making big money.

Less than 10% of Shopify stores are profitable.

I'm a seasoned entrepreneur who spent 2025 building companies and 3 of them made zero dollars.

Polsia is helping new founders get started. We just launched a few months ago. Give it time.

My take:

  • This is the future.

  • Actually, it's the present, too.

  • I was at the urologist today. (Asking about testosterone injections.) When he heard about my interviews, the doc told me that he has a side business led by Claude. AI-led companies are more common than we realize.

Sincerely,
Andrew Warner, your friend who still doesn't use ai to write his newsletter

PS are testosterone injections worth considering? Or are my friends only talking about them because Joe Rogan mentioned them on his podcast?

PPS obviously I edited that Q&A tightly. The full interview has the full answers and the full story of how his AI is building thousands of businesses.
